Preparing grant reports on behalf of your municipality is one of the four funding-specific services MuniciPaid provides to municipalities.
Ugh. Reporting.
So you were approved for a grant, congratulations! If this isn’t your first time, you’ll know what follows next will be a series of grant reporting/compliance check-ins. While the application process is filled with a lot of strategizing and excitement, the reporting process is more often the opposite…met with a lack of enthusiasm and procrastination due to its tedious and convoluted nature. While your staff have competing priorities, grant reporting is one of the few things we specialize in. Consider outsourcing the administrative responsibility to us to free them up to focus on value-added priorities!
Formula-Based Grants
Municipalities receive different types of grants. Commonly, the ones you need to apply for are the first to come to mind, but most municipalities actually receive a lot more formula-based funding than application-based funding! This means the Provincial or Federal governments provide allocations of funds to municipalities without any sort of application process. The caveat? Reporting still required. After engaging MuniciPaid, we’ll review the state of all of your on-going reporting with you and offer to simplify some of this administration.
